Fruit with “This is” and “These are”
Do you like fruit? This healthy snack is the subject of this week’s blog post.
Today we will learn the following fruit: an apple, grapes, a pear, a banana, a strawberry, an orange.
Learn singular and plural: an apple, apples.
Demonstrative pronouns tell us where and how many things there are. (See this blog post). In today’s post we will just focus on the things close to us (this/these). If you have only one object we say “This is” and if there are two or more we say “These are.”
Watch the video and do the worksheet to practice these concepts.
