Get into Shape

Learn your shapes! This basic concept will stand your child in good stead as shapes are used every day in common speech.

Learning English is like exercising a muscle, the more you learn the better you get. So learning your shapes is like “getting into shape” or becoming fitter and being healthy!

Here are the shapes:

Once you’ve learnt the shapes, make sentences using “It’s a.” It’s a square. It’s a circle. It’s a triangle. It’s a rectangle. Then add colours: It’s an orange circle. It’s a red square. It’s a purple triangle. It’s a blue rectangle.
